Hey boy, it's been a minute. Not that you would conceptualize this time away since you'll receive all these entries simultaneously. But I want to add one more commentary on long distance even though I came to the conclusion a month ago that we can hold it down in ways beyond what the internet can tell us. Mostly, I want to add one more to have a list of three next to the photo of your upadayana flowers ;)

What I'm thinking recently is that our love is not something that needs to be psychoanalyzed or delicately picked apart to survive. It has a heart of its own that is healthy and pulsating in all the ways it should - and even in ways beautifully atypical to most shared loves in the world. What my thought has shifted to in the past month is how our individual hearts can beat, move, in ways that flow into the one we share. The time is now to be with ourselves, cultivate our dreams and selfhood, self-love. And once this space apart ends, when we unite in body, our love will be even more pure and strong. We get to be by ourselves with the other truly in mind and considered. We get to be alone together! How freaking smart are we. We've taken the blessed opportunity to be two wholes coming together to have a heart² rather than one heart halved. I'm not sure if that makes sense, but what I'm saying is we will have two hearts coming together to be with abundant love - sources of love from both of us. And if one heart was split between us, the love would not be as limitless and infinite.

Okay also realizing that my logic of our heart might seem to contradict with us having two hearts. But what I'm saying is that there are three hearts, loves, in our relationship. The one that is yours, one that is mine, and the third that is ours created by two individual self-loves, self-knowledges etc. This may be obvious? IDK xD

Without taking this space and time, we'd doing our becoming a disservice. That's all I'm saying.

The lyrics are not in alignment with what I'm saying, but its in my head right now.

ANY FREAKING WAYS

a poem interesting when decoded through this place of mind ;)

The Water is Rising by Aja Monet

ocean sprung

drowning in depths

wading through

what craves and swims within

to become the sea

i leave the shore

bathing in awe

moon-touched

looming over

mermaid flesh

cowrie eyes

in the echo chamber of shells

how we do what we do

is as important as why

context is the content

love or fear

from where do we work?

                          trust or threat?

                          what is your constitution?

are you showing up in the world or in

your work in a way that is sustainable

                          for you and your community?

most of us have an adversarial relationship with our body

we have pain, we want it to go away

have you listened to your body lately?

to be self-aware is to accept yourself as a self is not you

interrupt the pattern of your mind

do we want presence or absence?

when we express our thoughts too soon

we lose our agency

to listen

we learn to not learn

more concerned with being right than sincere

righteousness rather than presence

the fog or fury or regret

be compassionate with your silence

conflict is the highest form of intimacy

invite the world you want to see into your eyes

all safety is a place of risk

to be heartbroken is to see you're not sure what you're seeing

which way is up or down

you are a part of me that i do not yet know

keep your agreements

listen from the gut of your hands

                          can you locate yourself?

many move through the world looking for a threat

a cell can only vibrate as high as it's surroundings

i touched the fatigue of our love

only as strong as our ability to grieve together

imagine

who is the one person you have not tried

                          to love?

when we are absent from now we grieve the then

forgiveness is freedom from the war of when
